With increasingly deepening new course reform,teaching design is becoming more and more important in teaching activities.Teaching design is a key to carry out teaching activities and its innovation is the prerequisite for classroom teaching innovation.For teaching of history in high schools,teachers should keep in line with the era and continuously update and improve teaching design according to new course standards to adapt to the requirements of new era.In January 2018,Schemes for Courses of Ordinary High Schools and Standards for Subjects including Chinese(2017 version)formulated by Ministry of Education was formally promulgated with a view to further clarifying the positioning of history education and teaching in ordinary high schools and requiring the refinement of core attainment of the History subject.Core attainment of the History subject is the concentrated reflection of human education of the History subject and demonstrates the new goal of “Enhance morality and foster talents” established for the History subject of high schools by the Party and the country.In order to carry through the new course standard and new concept,this article takes the lesson of “Ten years' confrontation between Communist Party of China(CPC)and Kuo Min Tang(KMT)” as example to explore teaching design.Lesson 15 “Ten years' confrontation between CPC and KMT”,required History textbook(version of People's Education Press)is featured by long time span and a lot of historical facts included,so students may be encountered with great difficulties in learning.Hence,for teaching design of the lesson “Ten years' confrontation between CPC and KMT”,it is necessary to integrate teaching contents,determine teaching objectives and key and difficult teaching points in combination with specific academic situation of students,take effective teaching strategies,try to create teaching scenarios,and improve students' capability of autonomous learning and trouble-solving with knowledge through teaching activities based on investigation in historical information and exploration activities concentrating on students.This lesson is an important one to strengthen the awareness of students for revolutionary military and develop their feelings of family and the nation.Finally,it is necessary to apply teaching design to specific classroom teaching,conduct teaching reflections based on actual teaching situation and evaluation and feedback from both teachers and students,and put forward some opinions on the teaching design of history.For a long period,history has been considered as a minor subject,and people have not emphasized the learning of history,resulting in not optimistic status quo of history teaching in middle schools.History teachers should keep reflecting and improving this teaching condition.Hence,history teachers should,under the guidance of new course standard,make teaching design that is more suitable for new course reform,break conventional history teaching mode,and in combination with teaching practice,keep reflecting and improving teaching efficiency,and try to really carry through the new course reform.
