The promulgation of the History Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition and 2020 Revision)provides important guidance for a new round of curriculum reform.The teaching of historical maps also meets the requirements of cultivating students' core literacy in the discipline of "space-time concept" and puts forward a new direction for the cultivation of students' historical ability.Historical map is not only an important resource for students to understand the past and perceive specific historical events,but also a cognitive medium for students to understand historical changes and grasp historical connections,thus making the historical facts expressed in words visible on the paper.Historical map is an important teaching resource in the course of history teaching because of its intuitiveness,objectivity,diversity and dynamic characteristics in multimedia teaching.Through the use of historical maps,students can analyze and extract effective historical information from historical maps,so as to help them better grasp historical details,promote the perfection of knowledge structure,and enhance the effectiveness and interest of students in the process of history learning.Historical maps are frequently used in both new class teaching and review and summary,and they are important carriers for students to learn history.Based on the new curriculum standard,this paper studies the application of historical maps,and probes into the strategies of using historical maps to improve the teaching efficiency of history in senior high schools by combining the contents of the history of the Anti-Japanese War in the Chinese and Foreign History Outline compiled by the Department.The first part of this paper summarizes the different types of historical maps according to their concepts.The second part from the students and teachers of different subjects respectively elaborated the historical map in the teaching activities reflected in the value;The third part is to analyze the concrete embodiment of historical map in the history curriculum standard.The fourth part is on the basis of understanding the setting and application of historical maps in the Part of History of Anti-Japanese War of Chinese and Foreign History Outline(Part I),the corresponding views and application strategies are put forward.The fifth part is the reflection on the application of historical map under the curriculum standard.The sixth part is the section teaching content designed by the author according to the chapter of the Anti-Japanese War in the textbook.This paper synthesizes the author's thinking on the history teaching issues and the summary of the experience in the practice process.With the continuous excavation of the new curriculum standards,the relevant content of the history map in the teaching is written for the purpose of applying it in the future teaching work.
