| Students and teachers are two basic elements of the university.The relationship· between teachers and students affects the implementation of education activities and the teaching effect.How to deal with the relationship between teachers and students is a problem that cannot be avoided and must be solved in education.From the perspective of student,this thesis took undergraduates of X University as object of study,systematically went through status quo of teacher-student relationship in colleges and universities,analyzed existing problems and the main reasons and posed measures for further improving teacher-student relationship in colleges and universities.It made use of such research methods as bibliographical research,questionnaire survey,text analysis,case study method and expressed the research ideas from four aspects including student’ s attitudes towards teacher-student relationship,status quo of teacher-student interaction,student’ s expectation towards teacher-student exchanges and assessment of teacher-student relationship by students of different disciplines.Through surveys and researches,it can be concluded that students of different gender and different disciplines differ in assessment of teacher-student relationship;teacher-student relationship in universities and colleges is yet to be improved;students admire more those teachers with outstanding academic achievements and broad and profound knowledge;students have high expectation of good teacher-student relationship;students with different personalities differ in the surveys and researches of teacher-student relationship.Furthermore,it summarized three problems existing in teacher-student relationship in colleges and universities based on the research conclusion:first,lack of exchanges and apathy between teacher and student;second,unbalanced teacher-student position and passive exchanges;third,low mutual trust and utilitarian interaction between teacher and student,targeting at which the thesis analyzed the factors affecting teacher-student relationship from four aspects including influence of enrollment expansion of colleges and universities,influence of college students’characteristics,influence of the teachers themselves and influence of network information technology.When it comes to the teachers and students,this paper puts forward the following measures to decrease psychological distance,improve positive communication and ensure intimate relationship:1)Expand the communication channel for teachers and students.2)Improve the personal charms of teachers.3)Transform the educational concepts of teachers.4)Enhance the self-growth of students.5)Improve the evaluation system for teachers.6)Foster a harmonious campus culture. |
