With the accelerated development of urbanization in China,more and more rural surplus labor forces have shifted to cities on a large scale,and migrant children have also become a fairly large social group in the city.In recent years,the issue of migrant children has become a topic of increasing concern to sociologists.The migrant children in the primary and secondary schools mainly finish their tasks of learning and development.At present,there is a widespread phenomenon of learning weariness among migrant children,such as lazy learning attitudes,negative emotions,being late,and truancy.Based on this background,this paper deeply analyzes the reasons for the weariness of migrant children through the investigation of migrant children's weariness.From the perspective of social work,the author uses the professional values of people-oriented,respect,trust and cooperation to carry out group work intervention and summarize the group work on the weariness of the migrant children about ideas,strategies and methods.Through the professional practice of X institution in Wuhan City,the author observed and investigated the students from J school and found that the phenomena of weariness was common in the group of migrant children.The three main aspects of migrant children's learning weariness are learning cognitive bias,low learning interest,lack of learning goals and motivation.Then,the author uses the ecological system theory to analyze the causes of the weariness of the migrant children,mainly related to the migrant children themselves,the family subjective and objective factors,the school factors and the social factors.These various factors together lead to the formation of the weariness of the migrant children.Then,combined with the analysis of the needs of migrant children who are ignorant of learning,the author uses group work methods to apply group work interventions to migrant children who are weary of learning from the individual level based on the strengths perspective,,mainly from three aspects of cognitive change,potential exploration and ability enhancement to help the children weary of learning to solve the problem of growth and restore healthy,positive lives and learning.Through the assessment of the group work,according to both the self-evaluation of the group members,the observation records of the workers,and the comparison of the members' behavior or performance before and after the group activities,the author found that the group members have changed their wrong knowledge of learning,to a certain extent,they have realized the importance of learning.In addition,the team members have discovered many potentialities in their group activities,and applied their strengths and potentials to real life and learning,improved their initiative and enthusiasm for learning,and improved their tiredness and behavior.improved their study weariness and behavior,mastered some learning methods and techniques,have strengthened the courage to overcome difficulties in learning and have increased their self-confidence.It can be seen that the group work has a certain effect on the intervention of migrant children who are tired of schooling,and the strengths perspective is applicable and effective in the group work of weary migrant children.However,due to my lack of theoretical literacy and practical experience,there are still some deficiencies in this study:the understanding of the migrant children's needs is not deep enough,the continuity of the service is not guaranteed,and the specific strategies for the intervention of migrant children 's weariness in group work are still to be further explored.
