The Development Situation,Problems And Measures Of Campus Football In The Primary And Secondary Schools In Wuhan

In 2009,the General Administration of Sport of China and the Ministry of Education of China jointly issued a notice of promoting campus football,hence campus football gained unprecedented attention.In 2012,Wuhan became one of the first pilot cities for football development in China and the activities launched in the following 5 years have obtained great effects and achievements.Researches on the development situation,problems and measures of campus football in the primary and secondary schools in Wuhan bear great significance for the healthy development of campus football in Wuhan.Taking the development situation of campus football in the primary and secondary schools in Wuhan as the research object and the administrators,teachers,students and the parents of the students from the primary and secondary schools in Wuhan as the respondents,and via questionnaire,field visit and expert interview,etc.,this thesis aims at probing into the development situation and problems of campus football in the primary and secondary schools in Wuhan and the appropriate measures as well.The findings of the research are as follows:1.Campus football management is mainly led by the education department,and the sports department provides industry support;most schools in the campus football field,teachers,and funds have been equipped.Campus football teaching,training,and competition are also underway;school leaders attach importance to campus soccer activities and students have a high degree of love for campus soccer activities.2.Problems such as uncoordinated management across departments,inadequate implementation of relevant policies,low specialization of teachers,single access to funds,insufficient football fields to meet the students' needs and lack of support from the students' parents and lack of cultural atmosphere of campus football,etc.still exist in the development of campus football in Wuhan.3.The corresponding measures based on the actual situation of Wuhan and aiming at those specific problems are eventually proposed in this thesis:(1)The assurance of relevant policies are to be improved and the enforcement of the policies is to be enhanced.(2)The mechanism of managing campus football that the government acts as the leader while the education departments act as the subjects is to be established.(3)The promotion and cultural construction of campus football is to be intensified.(4)The public's awareness is to be increased and the concepts of the students' parents are to be changed.(5)The access of funds is to be increased and the construction of football fields are to be improved.(6)Diversified mechanism of introducing teachers is to be established.(7)The system of campus football competition is to be improved.(8)The mechanism of connecting primary schools,junior and senior middle schools and universities is to be improved.
