The folk art has a great variety of styles,whose creative ideas and methods are inexhaustible sources of our artistic creation.A full-bodied breath of the native and outspoken expression give birth to pieces of amazing artistic works.With the rapid development of the society and the impact of foreign culture,all kinds of new media and new art strong hit our vision and drawing has been the most intuitive way to help people get information,so that people involuntarily has entered into an era of reading pictures.In the era,how to learn to apply folk art elements in the picture books is not only related to the study and inheritance of national traditional culture,but also promote the innovation and development of the local picture books.At present,we should put the Chinese folk art elements into high school art teaching so that our traditional picture books can compete with the picture books from the United States and Japan Disney cartoon.This paper studies the application of folk art elements in the high school,and explores and extends the drawing and design module of new curriculum in the high school through practice.In view of the art education target of the new curriculum,this paper aims to develop students' perception of folk art elements and performance ability to use traditional folk art elements to creative picture books,and cultivate students'awareness of the love and inheritance of traditional culture in the high school.This paper analyzes the theoretical basis of introducing folk art into the curriculum development of high school picture books by studying the artistic characteristics and expression methods of folk art picture books.This paper has four aspects:review,modeling,design and application,and comprehensive exploration.According to the research of curriculum,the author also makes the idea of thinking about local curriculum development and reusing it,hoping to develop a series of local courses,rich fine arts courses,and give out the meager strength to the cause of the local high school fine arts education.
