Nowadays,ICT in special education has been an inseparable part of educational informatization.Because information technology develops rapidly,the condition of educational informatization in special schools has become an important reference for evaluating the comprehensive strength of special schools.Although the number of the researchers on ICT in special schools is growing,relatively few of them study the index of special education informatization.Therefore,the index of special education informatization is studied in this paper.Through utilizing the ways of index construction,researching the related policy,paper and network resources,collating relevant elements of ICT in special school,the index of special education informatization is built finally.Due to the seventy percent territorial area of Western China in the whole country and one forth people in China,the condition of ICT in special school in Western China is an essential point to our national schools' information technology level.The questionnaire is compiled based on the index system.Then the survey is carried out to invest the present situation of those special schools in Western China.Finally,some advices about the informational technology education are given according to the analysis results.This article includes five chapters.For the first chapter,after analyzing the background and significance of the study,the research content,research goal and technical route are introduced too.For the second chapter,the index system of information evaluation for special education is formulated,including research dimensions,the construction principles and methods of the index system,extraction of specific indexes and weight setting.For the third chapter,based on the index system in the formal chapter,the questionnaire is compiled.Then the results of the questionnaire are collated.For the forth chapter,the analysis and some proper advices are given according to the questionnaire results.For the fifth chapter,research achievements and shortcomings of the analysis are proposed.
