The tide of the times surged,and in the case of the continuous innovation of the modern educational theory,education was also constantly developing and progressing.As an important tool in educational activities,textbooks should keep the pace with the times to adapt to the needs of education,and their compilation is also facing new competition and challenges.New literature is a new realm that origins in modern society.With the help of modern media,it had a widespread influence on modern society as soon as it was born.Now it has become an important part of knowledge transmission in Chinese textbooks because of its epochal character and the generalization of modern vernacular Chinese.In the mainland China,the most popular textbook is published by People's Education Press,and Taiwanese favorite textbook is Hanlin version.The two sides have placed different teaching demands on the selection of new literature works,which reflects different educational concepts.Both the mainland and Taiwan teaches in Chinese language.In a critical period of Chinese curriculum reform,studying the compilation of new literature works in these two sets of textbook,using the experience of excellent model and idea would help explore the new thinking and deepen the culture communication between two sides.The first chapter mainly introduces the current situation of Chinese high school textbook compilation in mainland and Taiwan.Including the censorship,The Average High School Course Standard from mainland and Compulsory Subject Outline of Chinese in Average High School from Taiwan.These are the cognitive bases of the thesis.The second chapter studies the multi-angle comparison on the new literature works of the two sets of Chinese textbooks.The first and second sections mainly analyse about the content of new literature works.Including two parts,model essay system and knowledge system.The former one is about the theme,genre,language style and writers,the latter one is about basic skills,literary form,language,logic and literary knowledge.The third and fourth sections are mainly based on the compilation pattern of new literature from the two sets of textbook for research and analysis.Including two aspects,learning guidance system and homework system.The former one contains annotation,answer key,unit learning requirements and preview tips.The latter one contains three kinds of homework which test students' comprehension,memory and application.Also there are other elements like type,requirement and configuration of questions.Compare the presentations of the shared articles and writers in the two sets of textbook,and present them in detail from the perspectives of the compilation of texts and teaching objectives.The third chapter integrates the research on the value inclination,the pros and cons of the new literature works in these two sets of textbook.From the characteristics of the compilation of new literature works in these two sets,we can see the differences among social ideology,teaching values,cultural aesthetic,etc.So we can discuss the merits and demerits of selections of new literature works in the two sets.All these are basics for targeted advice's proposal.The conclusion part summarizes the background,social characteristics,and the unique value of the new literature works.At the same time,it teases out important information,summarizes five elements of research:purpose,structure,method,process,content,and achievement.At last it expresses the author's good wishes for the prospect of the teaching material research field.
