Facing the adjustment of the national economic structure and industrial transformation and upgrading,combined with the law of the development of higher education,the Ministry of Education and the three ministries and commissions initiated the guiding opinions on guiding the transformation of some local undergraduate universities to applied ones.The opinion points out that the local universities should establish the type orientation of the application type and cultivate the talents with technical skills.The key to the transformation and development of local universities is to make clear the orientation of the school and train the talents with the orientation of employment.The employment demand oriented training of talents requires the construction of a dual teacher team with reasonable structure and excellent quality to improve the professional development level of double teachers.This study takes universities in Guangxi as an example,and investigates Yulin Normal University,taking the effective competitiveness of local applied universities as a research object.Our objective is to investigate the existing problems of professional development of double teachers in Local applied Universities,and to analyze the causes of these problems,and then to explore the path choice for the professional development of double teachers in Local applied Universities.The article is mainly composed of six parts.The first part is the introduction.We discuss the source of the subject,the significance of the research,the literature review and the methods of research are respectively.At the same time,the relevant concepts are also defined.The second part is the theoretical basis of the professional development of the applied university teachers.The criteria for the identification of double teachers,the theory of teachers' career cycle are expounded respectively.The third part is the connotation of the professional development of the double teacher type teachers in the local applied university.First discussing the connotation of applied undergraduate education and applied university;secondly discussing the requirements of local applied university of double type teachers' professional development quality,composed of basic quality and professional quality;then exploring the double type teacher professional development mode,respectively "mode of teachers professional development go out" and "bringing in" two forms.The fourth part is the problems and reasons for the development of the double teachers' professional development in the local applied universities.First discussing the existence of double teachers' professional development issues,including structural problems,the double type teachers to improve the quality of the slow,single evaluation methods,the results of practical teaching to show difficultly,lack of system security;Secondly,it analyzes the causes of the problems of double teachers' professional development in local applied Universities,which is mainly composed ofthree factors: the influence of traditional concepts of higher education,the policy impact of the development of university teachers,and the influence of transformation and upgrading of local economic industrial structure.The fifth part is the path choice for the professional development of double teachers in local applied universities.For example,we need to set up a double teacher teaching team and integrate mechanism of education and development.We should establish double professional teachers' professional development mechanism and build a system of double professional teachers' professional development.The specific contents include: increasing teachers introduce strength training mode,optimization of double qualified teachers,reform of teachers evaluation system,promotion system,construction of specialty group of discipline as the unit of the teaching team,the school as a unit of industry practice team,improve teachers' professional development organization construction.The sixth part mainly summarizes the achievements of this study.
