This article is based on the theoretical and practical teaching of small groups teaching methods at domestic and foreign,and the experimental research of non-sports professional tennis courses based on the small group teaching method.Based on the physical and mental characteristics of college students and the characteristics of tennis teaching,an experimental study on the teaching of non-sports tennis elective courses in professional sports academies was conducted.The aim was to promote the teaching methods of small group sports to the teaching of tennis elective courses in ordinary colleges and universities,and to improve current universities and colleges.Non-sports professional tennis students in the learning effect,enhance the quality of students in all aspects.In the comparative study of experimental results,in addition to the comparison of tennis basic skills and physical fitness,this article also increases the influence of small-group sports teaching methods on the students ' collective self-esteem mentality and self-education and academic planning.Highlighting the effectiveness of small group teaching methods in non-sports professional tennis general classes.In the teaching experiment process,it fully embodies the guiding ideology of "taking students as the main body and teachers as the leading factor" to inspire students' potentials and bring them into full play,so that students can learn to collaborate and comprehend the role of the team in improving the skills and physical fitness of students.At the same time,improve the students' psychological quality.I hope this article will enrich the theory of tennis teaching methods and provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for the teaching of non-sports professional tennis.This article uses the literature research method,the expert interview method,uses the questionnaire survey method,the experiment method,the data statistics method provides the necessary information for the thesis development.The research shows that: 1.Small groups of physical education methods can improve the enthusiasm of students' active practice;2.Small groups of physical education methods are conducive to improving students' tennis skills;3.Small groups of physical education can more effectively improve students' physical fitness;4.Small groups of physical education methods can more effectively improve students' collective self-esteem.5.Small groups of physical education methods can enhance students' own positive views on their studies and sports.Based on the results of thisstudy,the following suggestions are proposed: 1.It is recommended that small groups of physical education be used in non-sports professional tennis courses in professional sports academies;2.Teachers are advised to focus on the non-sports professional tennis courses in professional sports academies.The formation of the team;3.It is recommended that physical education teachers cultivate the backbone of physical education in non-sports professional tennis courses in professional sports academies;4.It is recommended that physical education teachers guide multiple ways in the teaching of non-sports professional tennis courses in professional sports academies.Evaluation;5.It is recommended that PE teachers conduct more in-depth research and innovation in teaching methods for small group sports.
