| Our country attaches great importance to adolescent education.The number 13 regulation of Chapters 2 of the “Population and Family Planning Law” in China expressly stipulates “schools should systematically conduct physical health education,puberty education,or sex education among students in an appropriate way consistent with the characteristics of the educatees.Most of the adolescent education is for junior high school students,however,there is little adolescent education being carried out in the junior high school of remote and badly-undeveloped counties.There are many cases in which high school students were damaged badly and leave irreparable damage for life because of lack of adolescent knowledge.This study is an effective way to explore the development of school-based curriculum related to high school adolescent health education under the guidance of professional subject background,and provide systematic and comprehensive health management knowledge for senior high school students.For adolescent health education,if there are no professional teachers to explain and systemic textbooks to guide students to learn,it is totally impossible for the head teachers and other teachers to meet the actual needs of senior high school students.This study first investigated the status of adolescent health education in No.3 High School of Qiaojia County,Zhaotong City.According to the previous investigation,the learning material“Adolescent Health Education Reader for Senior High School” and teaching plans were designed to meet the actual needs of students.The study was conducted using empirical research methods.The study used the observation method to record and analyze the implementation of the curriculum.The study used interviews to make a simple assessment of the results of the course implementation.Finally,this study analyzed the implementation and problems of school-based curriculum and put forward effective measures to solve the problems.The conclusions of this study are as follows.The development of adolescent health education school-based curriculum can give senior high school students systemic adolescent health knowledge,help teenagers establish correct sexual concept,promote the healthy development of teenagers’ physical and mental health,and also promote students to learn biology knowledge. |
