In 2011,the Ministry of Education issued the Basic Requirements for the Teaching of Psychological Health Education for College Students.The nature of the course and teaching objectives,content and form of teaching,and evaluation of teaching are clearly stipulated in the notice.At this point,the work of psychological health education for undergraduates is more scientific and standardized.However,the survey found that many schools did not pay enough attention to the psychological health education curriculum of college students,showing that there were few school hours,irregular professional quality of teaching staff,and excessively knowledgeable teaching content.Therefore,the evaluation of teaching effectiveness as a feedback mechanism,through the test of students' psychological behavior changes after the course of learning,caused the colleges and universities to attach importance to college students' psychological health education curriculum,while improving the teaching methods to promote the teaching effect.Based on this study,we propose a study on the evaluation of the effectiveness of this course,understand the impact of mental health education courses on the psychological behavior of college students,and the differences in the effectiveness of different teaching methods.This study uses a quantitative test method,A total of 138 students from a major first-year radio and television major,a Chinese language and literature major,and a journalism major were randomly selected,The three classes respectively received human-based education,traditional curriculum education and no mental health education.At the same time,self-esteem confidence scales,interpersonal relationship scales,emotional adjustment scales,social support scales,and class concentration scales were selected.Questionnaires were measured before and after the class.Fndings: 1.Mental health education courses help improve college students' self-confidence,self-confidence,emotional adjustment ability,social support,and class cohesion.2.The curriculum education based on the humanistic teaching method is beneficial to the college students' significant improvement in multiple psychological characteristics.The use of traditional teaching methods in the course of education is conducive to the college students in the promotion of some of the psychological characteristics of the university students who have not received the curriculum education in various psychological characteristics.The change is not obvious.3.In terms of interpersonal skills,the students who received the mental health education and those who did not receive the course education had significant improvement(posttest scores were significantly higher than the pretest).According to the research results,the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the effectiveness of college students' psychological health education courses were proposed.
