The development of the curriculum reform has put forward new requirements to chemistry teaching.The original teaching methods and strategies can not fully reflect the teaching concept of the new curriculum,and can not train the talents that could meet the needs of the development of the times.Teaching methods need to change and actively seek new and change to adapt to the objective world,also the middle school chemistry classroom teaching methods also need to comply with the requirements of the development of the times,change the original teaching methods,enrich the content and form of classroom teaching,so that more students will like chemistry and learn chemistry well.The characteristics,educational functions and learning mechanism of "Chemistry Desktop Games" provide a new way for the realization of new curriculum reform education idea.This paper,taking the chemistry curriculum of PEP edition in grade nine as an example,introduces classroom table games into the teaching of chemistry and constructs practical and maneuverable teaching methods with the guidance of relevant learning theories to promote the change of learning mode,overcome the difficulties in the study of chemistry in junior middle school,improve the effect of teaching and add the students' interest in learning.The research first analyzes from the perspective of compulsory education,learning condition in Chemistry and discipline competence.It contends that the game teaching is interesting,manipulative and cooperative,which helps students to get through the knowledge differentiation point of chemical language smoothly.Therefore,applying the "Chemistry Desktop Games" to the teaching can not only add fun and motivation to the learning process,but also cultivate the students' abilities of independent exploration,cooperative learning and problems solving.It is an exploration teaching mode aiming the core content of chemistry.Based on the investigation of literature,the thesis defines the concept of desktop games and chemical terminology,analyzes the characteristics of the "Chemistry Desktop Games" and make sure the content of knowledge module in chemistry terminology.Based on the existing research,it also takes the related educational theory as a guide to construct the teaching design,teaching method and strategy of applying “Chemistry Desktop Games to the instruction of chemistry terms and analyze the rationality and feasibility of the research from the theory.This research studies students' attitudes toward the “Chemistry Desktop Games” via questionnaire,sample survey of middle school students,Then the practice teaching activities are carried out by the way of experimental research,and three classes in the junior grade of Yongwu road school are taken to carry out the experiment.The teaching model based on "Chemical desktop games" is designed and the game team is formed.After the referee is familiar with the rules,the team captain and the referee guide the team to study the "Chemical desktop games".By the survey and stage test summary,it compares the experimental class with the control class about their learning of the chemistry language,and analyzes the teaching effect between this teaching model and the traditional teaching model.Finally,it summarizes the impact of this experiment on students and teachers and the problems existing in the application of "Chemical desktop games" in teaching as well as putting forward some methods to solve these problems.This study explores the application value of "Chemical desktop games" on the chemical language module,constructs the application mode of "Chemical desktop games",and puts forward the pertinent teaching strategies to help the educators to treat the "Chemical desktop games" rationally.Moreover,it applys those games to the chemistry teaching in junior middle school to promote the diversity of the teaching methods and provide reference for the teaching practice of chemistry teachers in junior middle school.
