Geography is an important subject in middle and high school,but in the current teaching arrangement,the middle school geography curriculum has a “break” in the third year.As the new curriculum reform advance,more and more teachers begin to pay attention to the link of geography teaching in middle and high schools.In the Internet era,the network teaching is flexible and convenient,and it has the immediacy,which provides an opportunity for the connection of geography teaching in middle and high school.Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC)is a large-scale online opening course.It is a hybrid teaching mode that is popular in colleges and universities.The small private online course(SPOC)is a small-scale private online course,is the optimization of MOOC further.SPOC advanced teaching design concept not only combines the advantages of traditional classroom,but also provides learners with a complete learning process and improves the teaching quality.Therefore,the junior high school geography bridging course adopts the SPOC mode,which saves teachers time to review the basic knowledge in the classroom and extends the time of students to study geography.It also realizes the cultivation of the overall quality of the students as the main body,finally found new ideas for high school geography teaching cohesion.This paper summarizes the research status of the convergence teaching and SPOC at home and abroad by looking up relevant literature materials,and then provides the ideas and theoretical basis for the study of this paper.First of all,in order to improve the rationality of this study,on the one hand,investigate,analyze,and summarize the current situation of middle school geography teachers' bridging teaching by the surveys and interviews of teachers.It was found that first-line teachers suffer from the lack of proper methods for bridging teaching,and teachers lack of the overall control of geography textbooks.So there is no clear convergence in teaching.On the other hand,from the side of students,especially the attitude to the online course and the basic knowledge of senior one students.It is found that basic knowledge is weak,but students is positive to online course.Therefore,combining system theory,cognitivism theory,constructivism theory,and students' attitudes,from the psychological,knowledge,method proposes a convergence strategy,according to the strategic planning and design of SPOC's bridging curriculum teaching process.The second,the two classes were selected for a two-month teaching practice in order to verify the learning effect of this mode.Finally,basic on the data,compare and analyze the results.Finally,this study concluded that the SPOC teaching model is more suitable for personalized teaching and can meet the different needs of students.This kind of SPOC teaching mode not only improves students' enthusiasm for learning geography but alsopromotes communication between teachers and students.From a long-term perspective,the further deepening of SPOC will help improve teaching efficiency,provide new ideas and technical support for China's education and teaching work,and lay a good foundation for high school learning to find a new way.
