A Study On The Development And Utilization Of Poetry And Chinese Curriculum Resources In Riverside Stones In Lingyun County（凌云县）

Lingyun County(凌云县),located in a mountainous area,is known as the hometown o f painting and calligraphy and the hometown of Chinese Poetry as well.There is a river crossing the county along which there are numbers poems on the slate balustrade.What an amazing cultural phenomenon!These poems all belong to excellent Chinese traditional cu lture.They are tourist cards of the county’s publicity.Actually,these poems are rich and convenient Chinese community educational resources and good for local Chinese teache rs to set up unique curriculum.According to the college entrance examination syllabus and curriculum criterion,setting up local Chinese curriculum is suitable for building a strong socialist culture in China and Lingyun(凌云)as well as the Chinese educationa l concepts and relevant legal and realistic basis.It is also good for inheriting Chine se traditional culture,building community culture,helping the students grow healthily,improving the development of culture andeducation and so on.The development and use of it as a local curriculum is in line with the national policy of the country’s cultural powers,conducive to the promotion of local cultural soft power,the development of cult ural laws and regulations,the transmission of traditional Chinese culture and the enha ncement of people’s cultural identity.Riverside stone-carved poetry also has important curriculum value.It is an important local curriculum resources.With the development and utilization of it,it canbe conducive to foster student literacy,enriching the content of poetry teaching,reflecting the spirit of modern language teaching,and adapting t o the new needs of teaching reform.However,because people can’t realize the poems’advan tages and it lacks of government propaganda,there stone carvings can’t be developed wel l and stil can’t be used in Chinese teaching,which makes great waste.The writer is at tempting to compile school-based teaching materials and make the local curriculum traini ng goals.Then use it in Chinese teaching classes and extra curricular practice related with Chinese courses and other educational teaching.However,after practice,though get ting some achievements,the writer has met lots of difficulties and puzzles because of a tremendous amount of work.At present,many thoughts are still underdeveloped and need to be improved.As an important content of community culture,Riverside stone poetry i s of great cultural development value.
