When it comes to the Chinese culture,it has a long history.As a significant part of traditional Chinese art,stone carving art plays an indispensable core role in cultivating the aesthetic and cultural literacy of high school students.Through investigation,many practical problems are found to exist in the design and teaching of high school stone carving art at this stage.In instance,the limited teaching time fails to lead students to have a deep learning and understanding.The knowledge students have learned is scattered and not concentrated,which is far from real life.As a result,the course can not effectively play its important core value.In this case,this thesis focuses on highlighting the main body status of students in view of the current predicament.The course content and teaching methods suitable for students’ learning are selected,and the high school stone carving art of Song Dynasty in Lu County is taken as an example to carry out a systematic and integrated large unit course design.Besides,the teaching content of stone carvings of the Song Dynasty and the educational concept of the core literacy of the subject are analyzed and integrated in this thesis.Through concrete teaching practice,it tries to make students feel the unique and convenient expression of stone carving art in real life,so students’ love for traditional culture can be stimulated and their cultural confidence can be enhanced.Firstly,the questionnaire survey method was adopted for the curriculum development of stone carvings of the Song Dynasty in Lu County.The students of Lu Xian No.2 High School and all the first-line fine arts teachers in the region of Lu County were investigated,and the results of the investigation were analyzed.The problems existing in teaching and the reality of the curriculum development of stone carvings of Song Dynasty in Lu County were discovered,so the value and significance of this research were confirmed.Secondly,the unit curriculum design was conducted after a concrete analysis on the necessity of the school-based fine arts curriculum design for the stone carvings of Song Dynasty in Lu County,including the design of teaching content,the design of teaching activities,and the design of teaching evaluation.Based on this,the key content of the unit was determined,the main structure was guided by basic questions,the unit goal was formed.In this way,the authentic learning experience of students can be promoted and the teaching process can be optimized.In addition,the evaluation quantification table for teachers and students was set up.Finally,a large unit teaching plan of Eternal Charm-The Beauty of Stone Carvings Song Dynasty in Lu County was designed and produced bu focusing on the school-based curriculum.In accordance with the concrete teaching practice cases,the verification,summary,evaluation and reflection on previous theoretical knowledge were carried out.
