With the growing popularity of Chinese language all over the world and the development of CPIK(Chinese Program In Korea)project,more and more Chinese volunteer teachers have been engaged themselves in Chinese language teaching in Korean primary and secondary schools.The Yushin High School I had taught in is a Korean boys high school.Since Chinese Language is optional and the teaching methods adopted by the Korean teachers were monotonous and dull,students in this school showed low enthusiasm in leaning Chinese.Therefore,after taken the learning features of the students in the boys high school into consideration,this paper is aimed at exploring how to communicate and interact with students who have no prior Chinese language learning experience,and how to create a relaxed and active classroom atmosphere through various interactive teaching methods so as to improve the students’ language skills as well as their initiative for study.Based on the experience of teaching Chinese language as a second language for one year and the data collected from the questionnaires survey on the students,the author tries to find out the students’ preferences for different classroom interactive methods and reasons,as well as gain a better understanding of the students’ evaluation of interactive teaching.After an analysis the situation of Chinese language teaching in Yushin High School of Korea,and on the theoretical basis of interactive teaching,the author chooses the most popular interactive teaching method selected by the students according to the results of the questionnaire survey as an example to conduct a case study on the implementation of the interactive teaching method of Chinese language teaching in Yushin High School of Korea from the aspects of intonation,vocabulary,text and culture.Then,by taking the tenth lesson "How Much Money" in the textbook as an example,the author introduces the specific application of interactive teaching in Yushin High School.Finally,in view of the students’ evaluation on Chinese language course and the implementation of interactive teaching method according to the results of the questionnaire survey,the author also analyzes the feasibility and effectiveness of the interactive teaching method,and put forward some reflections and suggestions to the optimization of its application in Chinese language teaching in boys high schools.
