Improving The Interpersonal Relationships Of Social Work Intervention Of Migrant Workers

Migrant workers are those who grow in the rural areas and leave the rural areas to work in the field.Most of them are engaged in manual labor.The trend of modern migrant workers has become younger,and they have flooded into the cities early and gradually emerged from agricultural production,forming a new generation of migrant workers.After a long period of separation from their relatives and friends,the new generation of migrant workers showed a lack of interpersonal support systems,networking of interpersonal relationships,and indifferent interpersonal interactions.They ignored their own advantages and were unwilling to engage with their peers and used irrational methods to solve problems.The problems and contradictions affect work and life.This research starts from the professional methods of social work and selects group work and case work methods to improve the interpersonal relations among peasant workers.First of all,a preliminary understanding of the basic characteristics of migrant workers,the status of human communication,assess the needs of peasant workers and interpersonal communication.Questionnaire surveys and interviews were conducted for K business migrant workers living in D youth apartments.Then,the group plan was developed and the group service work was carried out.Through screening,eight young migrant workers have been identified to form peer improvement teams,and six group activities have been launched from the four dimensions of eliminating team tension,strengthening self-expression,encouraging team members to actively communicate with peers,and helping team members feel socially fun.Finally,social worker provided six case service services for a K enterprise young migrant worker to help her establish correct interpersonal cognition and improve her interpersonal relationships.In this research,interview method and satisfaction survey were used to evaluate the effect of social work on improving interpersonal relationship of migrant workers.The results showed that after the intervention,the group members learned to express themselves correctly,found their own advantages and improved their self-confidence.The communication between the team members became close and began to support each other.The team members increased their participation and strengthened prosocial behavior.Case work intervention could improve the ability of interpersonal communication,reflected in the service object to correct their own perception,digging their own advantages,to control the irrational emotions,take the initiative to show themselves in front of peers.Through this research from the theory,method,operation,social worker role four aspects has carried on the social work involved in the reflection of interpersonal relationship to improve rural migrant workers,and to explore the intervention of social work relationships improve an effective method of migrant workers,social work professional knowledge and skills,help migrant workers out of their interpersonal difficulties,enhance skills,make work and life more comfortable.
