Major identity plays an important role of adolescent self-development as well as being an important basis for students to gain inner development.It means the acceptance and recognition about students' majors based on the cognitive understanding and they are willing to explore and learn with the positive attitude and the active behavior.The habit of students' major identity do a great help to their self-evaluation and the development of their major,including the deeply rethinking about the problems emerging in the learning process and a considerable promotion to their major development.By now,the research on major identity in China is still immature and most of them follow the old way,from describing current situation and then analyzing the reason and finally giving the advise.The research on the main content and forming process is still a little.Regarding of the problems above,the essay has a deep research on major identity of postgraduate majoring in the children's organization and ideology education,in order to enrich the research contents of major identity and promote the construction and development of children's organization and ideology educational.This study conducted a survey to the postgraduates of children's organization and ideology of education by the questionnaire named college students' speciality identity.Based on the results of the survey,we are trying to discover the problems and influent factors behind it and give a practical advice on increasing the level of major identity for postgraduates.There are five parts in my paper.The introduction and the Chapter I constitute the first part,including the research background,purpose and significance as well as the research ideas and methods.Also,I give a specific definition to the major identity and list the relevant thesis.Chapter II is the second part,concreting the basis of paper in thesis.The essay makes research on the major identity of children's organization and ideology education about the structural elements and development process from the theory of social identity and self-identity.The third part is made by the Chapter III,which gives the results of my survey and point out the current status and the problems behind the major identity.The fourth part is Chapter IV.By the further conversation with the postgraduates,there are several relevant factors found,mainly about the students' view of the prospect of the major,the efforts to the major construction from the college and the acceptance and the demand of the postgraduates from society.The fifth part refers to chapter V,aiming at the problems and influencing factors,some advises would be given concerning about the stimulation of students inner courage,the improvement of construction of schools and perfection of the society employment guarantee and so on.By this way,we can deepen the degree of major identity of postgraduate majoring in the children's organization and ideology education and promote the further development of the children's organization and ideology education academy.
