Since the implementation of college enrollment expansion in China,it has accelerated the process of China's higher education towards the popularization stage.However,with the increasing number and scale of colleges and universities,people's attention to higher education has shifted from the popularization of "quantity" to the accountability of "quality".Undergraduate education and teaching as the basis of higher education,the quality of undergraduate education has been paid more and more attention by all walks of life.In order to ensure the quality of undergraduate education and teaching in colleges and universities,our government adopts the internationally recognized higher education evaluation model to improve itself.As a new exploration in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching in higher education in our country,the effect of audit and evaluation is worthy of affirmation.However,there are shortcomings in the government-led evaluation subject,the mismatch between the subject background of the evaluation experts and the evaluated major,the conflict between the proliferation of external evaluation and the teaching order of colleges and universities,and the openness and transparency of the information of the evaluated colleges and universities,and so on.How to clearly understand,accurately grasp and smoothly implement such a new evaluation model is becoming a new realistic problem to be faced in the new round of higher education reform and development in our country.This paper uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,policy text analysis method and case study method,mainly to follow the logical thinking mode from problem to countermeasure and from individuality to commonness.On the basis of many scholars' existing research,based on the existing problems,this paper puts forward reasonable and feasible countermeasures to perfect the audit and evaluation.The first part of the paper in the introduction,the background of the topic,the significance of research,through combing and analysis of the existing literature,leading to the main content of this paper,research methods,to provide the development of the context for the article.In order to further study the problems of undergraduate teaching audit and evaluation;secondly,to elaborate the theoretical basis and core concepts of undergraduate teaching audit and evaluation.Then the characteristics,functions and value of audit and evaluation are discussed.Finally,taking S University as a case study,this paper selects the teachers and managers of S University to conduct questionnaire investigation and interview to analyze the actual situation of S University in the process of implementing audit and evaluation,from personality analysis to common research,and select the teachers and managers of S University to conduct questionnaire investigation and interview.According to the investigation and research on the current situation of the audit and evaluation in S University,this paper explores the problems faced by the audit and evaluation at present,and the main suggestions to be constantly improved.
