Illustration,as one of the reading aids of Chinese textbooks,is an important part of Chinese textbooks.Illustrations can activate students' thinking,stimulate their imagination and develop their spatial intelligence.As a part of curriculum resources,illustrations in textbooks should play its due role and realize its value.Taking the textbook of junior middle school as an example,the author compares and classifies the illustrations in the textbook of junior middle school,in order to improve the use of illustrations in junior middle school Chinese teaching,make better use of illustrations in the textbook,effectively improve students' understanding of the text,and help students grasp the ideas and emotions expressed in the text more accurately.The introduction first clarifies the reasons for the topic of this article.The exquisite textbook illustrations evoke the memory of how many students have gone away.I have to say that the pictures give people a full memory and impression.With the passage of time,the remote Chinese textbooks have been changed from one edition to another.However,the illustrations of those textbooks are deeply imprinted in the memory of every student.Secondly,it introduces the research status and related literature at home and abroad,and clarifies the research significance and research methods of this paper.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main body of the paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly outlines the illustrations of Chinese textbooks,and explains the nature and functions,types and design principles of illustrations of Chinese textbooks.The second part mainly statistics the data of illustrations in the textbooks of junior middle school.Including the total number of illustrations,content classification,location,cover,editor's page and catalogue illustrations.The third part mainly investigates and analyses the current situation of illustrations in the textbooks of junior middle school.The fourth part mainly discusses the teaching strategies of using illustrations in junior middle school Chinese teaching.The appendix part lists the questionnaire survey of the current situation of illustration teaching in junior middle school Chinese textbooks compiled by the unified edition,the outline of interviews with teachers,and the teaching examples of illustrations in junior middle school Chinese textbooks explored and practiced by the unified edition.
