The eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has established moral education as the fundamental task and goal of education.Under the background of the new round of curriculum reform,the Ministry of Education has officially announced the core qualities of Chinese students' development,which points out the direction of the current curriculum reform of basic education.As a compulsory basic course for students in the nine-year compulsory education stage,art course has the nature of Humanities and art,and is also an important way for schools to carry out aesthetic education.It can cultivate students' emotions and enlighten their wisdom.It plays a vital and even irreplaceable role in the cultivation of students' good aesthetic taste,imagination and creativity,and in the promotion of students' comprehensive and harmonious development.It is self-evident that the value of art curriculum is very important.At present,the art teaching in primary schools in rural areas of our country has not been set up or taught according to the national curriculum standards,and the people and educators in rural areas have not realized the important value of the art curriculum.In this case,with the help of the new reform spring wind of the national core literacy education concept,people clearly realize that the primary art curriculum is not only drawing and playing,but also an important curriculum that can shape students' aesthetic outlook,cultivate their temperament,cultivate their imagination and creativity.And to rebuild the primary art curriculum with the core literacy concept,so that students can acquire the knowledge and skills of the art curriculum through independent practice and cooperative exploration,and cultivate students' cultural understanding,aesthetic literacy,imagination and creativity.At the same time,let the rural art curriculum be set up according to the national standards and play its great role in cultivating students' aesthetic and cultural understanding and innovation ability.In the research on the conception and construction of art curriculum in rural primary schools under the background of core literacy,we should first explore the real situation of art teaching in rural primary schools through questionnaires and interviews,explore the causes of teaching problems,and at the same time,improve the understanding of the value and role of art curriculum among rural primary school managers and teachers with the help of core literacy concept.Secondly,according to the requirements of the core literacy concept,the primary school art curriculum is re-interpreted,and the construction plan and assumption of rural art curriculum are put forward.Combining core literacy with rural teaching practice and local art resources organically,let art curriculum play the greatest role in cultivating rural pupils' artistic and cultural literacy,healthy and rational aesthetic taste,mastering artistic expression methods and innovative spirit.It also provides new curriculum theory and guidance for primary art teachers in rural areas,so that primary art education in rural areas keeps pace with the times and develops healthily.
