Countermeasure Study Of Mental Health Education For University Student From The Perspective Of Positive Psychology

University students are the key power that determines the future development of thecountry and they bear the limitless expectations from their parents and the society. So it is ofgreat significance to help every university student to possess healthy body and mind as wellas positive personality. At present, most universities in our country adopt the traditionalpsychological education model that is mainly based on the tendency of problematicconsciousness.The universities take the students with mental problems as the focus of mentalhealth education, but ignore the cultivation of positive qualities of the most students. Whilethe positive psychology changes the previous teaching angle and works on tapping thepotential of university students, which achieves the effect of promoting the mental health ofall university students and perfecting the mental health education of university students.The paper firstly explains the basic content and theoretical basis of positive psychologyin detail and makes a comparison between traditional psychology and positive psychology ata deep level. It highlights the value of positive psychology to mental health education ofuniversity students in the perspective of connotation and innovation. Then through theinterviews and questionnaires, the author makes a deep analysis on the existing problems ofuniversity students’ mental health education from the perspectives of aim, function andimplementing methods. Finally, aiming at the present existing problems, the paper putsforward effective solutions to solve them at the levels of setting a goal, the content for mentalhealth education, mental health education methods, etc.
