In October 2015,the State Council issued the "Overall Plan for Promoting the Construction of World-class Universities and First-class Disciplines in the World",which requested governments at all levels to speed up the construction of a number of world-class universities and first-class disciplines so as to enhance the overall strength and international competitiveness of China's higher education.As one of the high-level universities in Fujian Province,F University is also making unremitting efforts to achieve the strategic goal of "double first-class"construction.The foundation and key to create a first-class teaching staff is to construct a effective system of assessment and evaluation of teachers,and the reform of teacher performance evaluation system has become an urgent requirement for the realization of the "double-first-class"construction strategy.This article is divided into five parts.The first part mainly expounds the research background,significance and research status at home and abroad,at the same time,it also introduces the research ideas,methods and innovations of this paper.The second part discusses the related concepts and theoretical basis of "double first-class"construction and University teachers' performance evaluation,which provides theoretical support for the follow-up research.At the beginning of the the third part,the author illustrates the necessity and importance of the reform of teacher performance evaluation system in F university,then gives a brief introduction to the general situation of F University and its current teacher performance evaluation system.In addition,the author analyzes the questionnaire survey data,thus sums up the existing problems in the current teacher performance evaluation system of F University and investigates the reasons for them.In the fourth part,the author explores the advanced experience and gets inspiration in teacher performance evaluation by studying the achievements of teacher performance evaluation system in the first-class universities at home and abroad,Tsinghua University and Harvard University.The fifth part puts forward the reform strategy of teacher's performance evaluation from the aspect of index setting,evaluation subject,target orientation,evaluation method,evaluation system,etc.,which is suitable for the strategic goal of"double-first-class" construction in F universities.
