As an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high schools,classical Chinese has been paid more and more attention to by teachers,parents and even in the whole education field.The teaching of content words in classical Chinese is an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high schools.Because of the large vocabulary and the long time interval between classical Chinese context and modern Chinese context,it is generally difficult not only for teachers to teach but also for students to learn.This paper carries out a series of analysis and teaching practice in three aspects,the font,the sound and the meaning of key content words in classical Chinese.(It focuses on the 120 key content words in the appendix of Chinese Syllabus for Students in Full-time General Senior High Schools in 2002).It tries to find systematic methods of classical Chinese content words teaching to improve Chinese teachers' professional quality,motivate classroom teaching,and raise students' reading comprehension level of classical Chinese.It also helps students to better understand the spirit of the Chinese nation and lay their foundation of Chinese traditional culture accomplishment.There are five chapters to discuss the source-exploring teaching from the aspects of the font,the sound and the meaning.Chapter One,introduction.Chapter Two,analysis of key content words.Chapter Three,analysis of content words teaching status in senior high schools.Chapter Four,the source-exploring teaching practice of content words from the aspects of the font,the sound and the meaning.Chapter Five,suggestions and outlooks.The paper focuses on the usage frequency and the meanings of the 120 key content words in the text books and the tests in the College Entrance Examination of Sichuan Province from 2006 to 2017.It also analyzes the current content words teaching status in senior high schools.Based on problem detecting it presents the source-exploring teaching method of content words from the aspects of the font,the sound and the meaning.It includes teaching plans on how to do source-exploring teaching of content words from the aspects of the font,the sound and the meaning.It also carries out questionnaires and comparative analysis on teaching effect.At last,there are suggestions on how to improve teaching effect of the source-exploring teaching of content words from the aspects of the font,the sound and the meaning.
