As a large country of higher education,China has far more talents than other developed countries.However,from the perspective of the quality of personnel training,China still has a big gap with countries such as Europe and the United States.Exploring its essence is because under the background of China's rapid economic development,the talents cultivated by colleges and universities cannot meet the current needs of China's society and market for diversified talents,especially the backbone of China's construction into a modern and innovative country.The demand for high-quality applied talents.Applied universities are mainly responsible for the cultivation of applied talents,mainly multi-disciplinary or single-specialized universities.However,in the actual development of the higher education system,the type of school is still divided by the level of academic level,forming a “pyramid” shape from the trinity of higher vocational colleges,applied universities and research universities.In the middle of the application-oriented universities in the development,in order to pursue a better development can enhance a grade,and "copy and copy" research-oriented university development model,vigorously develop scientific research,talent training mode is based on theory.This caused the collapse of the central part of the "pyramid".In fact,China's demand for talents is often light at both ends,and the central part is heavy.The central forces are mainly based on high-quality applied talents.High-quality applied talents are the main force in building China's socialism.Applied universities are the main force for cultivating high-quality applied talents.However,there is a clear lack of appropriateness in the talent output of applied universities,mainly because of the application type.The university has a bias in the orientation of running a school.China's applied universities are out of touch in terms of school orientation and talent output,and there is a clear lack of relevance.As the backbone of cultivating high-quality applied talents,is the orientation of applied universities in line with its own goal orientation,talent training orientation,school-running characteristics,etc.,whether it is related to its own school-running level,teacher strength,teaching investment,quality assurance and school-running characteristics.Correspondence,through the 2018 undergraduate teaching review and evaluation report,text analysis of the current problems in the current application of the university,and find a solution.
