With the increasing investment in basic education,multimedia has been widely used in Chinese teaching in primary school.Multimedia can introduce rich and colorful information resources into the classroom and improve students interest in learning.Multimedia can make students get and understand knowledge through intuitive display.Although multimedia is a commonly used as modern teaching tool,due to various reasons,there are still many problems in the application of multimedia Chinese teaching in primary school.Based on the application of multimedia in Chinese teaching D primary school in C County,this paper finds out the problems existing in the application of multimedia in Chinese teaching in primary school through questionnaires method survey,interviews and classroom observation method,finds out the causes of these problems,and tries to put forward suggestions and countermeasures.Firstly,based on the investigation and study of the current situation of multimedia application in Chinese teaching in primary school,this paper randomly sampled one class of students from grade 3 to 6 and 40 language teachers from the whole school as survey respardents,interviewed three language teachers and principal L,listened to more than 40 lessons of more than twenty Chinese teachers and recorded them.Through combing the results of questionnaires,interviews and classroom observations,we find that there are some problems in multimedia teaching in primary schools: teachers lack the ability to deeply develop information-based teaching resources,the information capacity of multimedia teaching classroom is too large,which limits the for playing of students’ principal role,It is difficult for teachers to effectively integrate multimedia teaching methods with traditional teaching methods,and teachers are over reliant on multimediain in classroom,lack of pertinence in multimedia use,and ineffective training of teachers’ multimedia skills.Secondly,under the guidance of system science theory,cognitive load theory and "tower of experience" theory,we can find out the deep reasons behind the problems: teachers are lack of the correct understanding of the application of multimedia in primary school Chinese teaching,schools are lack of the evaluation index system of multimedia teaching,primary school Chinese teachers are lack of pertinence in multimedia technology training,teachers’ teaching tasks are too heavy.Finally,aiming at the reasons that affect the application of multimedia in primary school Chinese teaching,the author tries to put forward relevant suggestions and countermeasures: to improve teachers’ ideological understanding,to establish a rationalview of multimedia use,to establish a reasonable teaching evaluation system in schools,to strengthen the pertinence of multimedia technology training,to enhance the creative level of multimedia courseware production of Chinese teachers,and to alleviate teachers’ work.quantity.
