Moral behavior refers to the definite action which is meaningful to oneself,others or society,and it accords with social norms.It is a significant symbol to measure a person's moral development.Moral behavior is the external behavior of humanity's inner moral cognition and moral emotion,which interacts with moral cognition,moral emotion and moral will.It is the basic task of school education in our country to cultivate people by virtue.Schools for the mentally retarded are the main positions of moral education for students with intellectual disability,and it shoulder important task of cultivating students' good morality and behavior.The study of moral behavior can enrich the relevant theories of moral behavior development of special children,provide theoretical support for moral education in schools for the mentally retarded,understand the moral behavior performances and development status of students with intellectual disability.Based on the theory of moral cognitive development,social learning theory and embodied moral education,this study investigated the moral behavior performances and existing problems of students with intellectual disability,and put forward educational suggestions for moral education in schools for the mentally retarded to promote the moral behavior development of students with intellectual disability.This study selected 138 students with intellectual disability from grade one to grade nine as the subjects of investigation,and this students came form four cities and six schools for the mentally retarded.This study selected 6 teachers as the subjects of interview,and 5 students in junior grade,middle grade and higher grade as the subjects of observation.This paper studied the social public morality behavior,school moral norm behavior and individual morality behavior of students with intellectual disability used self-made "The Questionnaire on Moral Behavior of Students with Intellectual Disability in Schools for the Mentally Retarded",used self-made "Observation Table of Moral Behavior of Students with Intellectual Disability in Schools for the Mentally Retarded" to observe moral behavior of students with intellectual disability,and used self-made "Outline of Interview on Moral Behavior of Students with Intellectual Disability in Schools for the Mentally Retarded" to interview teachers in Schools for the Mentally Retarded.This study conducted qualitative and quantitative analysis on the overall performances,development status and existing problems of moral behavior of students with intellectual disability.According to the study results,this paper investigated the factors affecting the development of moral behavior of students with intellectual disability,like education,development and intelligence.This study concluded that the moral behavior of students with intellectual disability in schools for the mentally retarded is better.Social public morality behavior is the best,followed by school moral norm behavior and individual morality behavior.The lighter the barrier,the higher the grade,and the better moral behavior.The development speed of moral behavior is first fast and then slow.The middle grade is the key period for the development of moral behavior.The moral behavior of students with intellectual disability is unstable,volatile,easy to fade,difficult to last,double and extreme.Therefore,educational suggestions were put forward: We should give full play to the leading role of school moral education to promote the overall development of students' moral behavior,tap non-intellectual factors to teach students in accordance with their aptitude combining the characteristics of students with intellectual disability,and we should coordinate the relationship between school education,family education and social education to form a joint force of education.
