The 2011 edition of "Sports and Health Standards" in compulsory education stage points out that in school physical education teaching,according to the characteristics of students' physical and mental development,we should follow the teaching law,carry out targeted teaching method innovation and reform,and mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning physical education and health courses.Basketball is one of the main teaching materials in middle school physical education.In the basketball teaching activities of middle school physical education,choosing appropriate teaching methods has a positive impact on students' interest in learning and teaching effect,and is conducive to improving the quality and effect of Basketball Teaching in middle school physical education.This paper takes the seventh grade students of Liangdaojie Middle School in Wuhan as the research object,using the methods of documentation,teaching experiment,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,and through the application of comprehending teaching method in the basketball teaching of Liangdaojie Middle School,the purpose is to provide reference for the reform of basketball teaching method of Wuhan Middle School Physical Education and enrich the basketball teaching method of Wuhan Middle School Physical Education.The research concludes as follows:1.Comprehension teaching method pays attention to guiding students to learn,think and act together,enlightening and exploring together,which conforms to the cognitive level and thinking characteristics of middle school students,and is suitable for the application of Basketball Teaching in middle school physical education.Understanding teaching method embodies students' subjectivity in Basketball Teaching of middle school physical education,and returns the classroom to students,which conforms to the trend of curriculum reform.Understanding teaching method is necessary in the reform of Basketball Teaching of middle school physical education.2.Through the analysis of the experimental data of comprehending pedagogy teaching,it is concluded that there is no significant difference between the experimental group and thecontrol group before the experiment(p > 0.05).After the experiment,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p > 0.05).There was a significant difference between the technical evaluation of one minute free throw and the achievement of basketball dribble and technical stabilization(p < 0.05).The control group was significantly better than the experimental group.In terms of competition ability and theoretical performance,there was a significant difference between the two groups of boys and girls.Difference(p < 0.05),the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.In the middle school basketball physical education teaching,the comprehending teaching method is more conducive to the improvement of middle school students' competition ability,while the traditional skill teaching method is more conducive to the learning of basic skills.3.Through the analysis of the interest questionnaire,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group before the experiment(p > 0.05).Paired samples t-test was used in the two groups.There was a significant difference between the male and female groups before and after the experiment(p < 0.01),while there was no significant difference between the male and female groups before and after the experiment(p > 0.05).After the experiment,two groups were tested by independent sample t test.There was a significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.01).The experimental group was significantly better than the control group.Understanding teaching method can significantly enhance the interest of middle school students in basketball.4.Promoting interest is the premise,mastering technology is the basis,and improving competition ability is the purpose.In middle school basketball teaching,understanding teaching method and traditional skill teaching method have their own characteristics and complement each other.
