Empirical Research On Social Work Embedding Community Building

With the collapse of the unit system and the continuous development ofeconomic development,more and more Chinese people have gradually changed from"unit people"and "rural people" to "community people "Traditional geographical ties have been destroyed,new relationship connections have not yet formed,how to unite community awareness,and rebuilding community communities has become a major problem which the current community development faces.The Party and the statehave paid more attention to this,and have repeatedly emphasized innovative community governance methods to promote the benign interaction of residents'autonomy;academics and civil society organizations have also joined hands to promote new community practices,such as community construction,to try to reawaken community vitality and achieve community Sustainable development.At the same time,social work can be seen in many kinds of community-building practice activities.Social work is becoming the backbone of community-building practice activities with its uniqueness and professionalism.Following the successful implementation of community-building practice activities in cities such as Beijing,Shanghai,and Chengdu,Nanjing has also actively launched new community-building initiatives.The "micro-updated and micro-happiness" community-building project in Qixia District is well-ordered,large-scale,and typical.And representative.In the context of the new era,it is of academic and practical significance to study the role and function of social work embedded in the community to create practical activities,sum up experience,and reflect on difficulties and challenges.Different from previous social work and community creation cross-disciplinary research,this paper not only pays attention to the role-playing and practical functions of social work embedded in community-building practice,but also pays attention to the local successful experience,difficulties and challenges of social work in community-building practice.Social work can be effectively embedded in the different stages of community building practice and make a difference.In the early stage of community construction,social workers can be keenly aware of community problems,listen to the residents's will,and link resources inside and outside the community to prepare for the community's practice.In the medium-term stage,social workers are flexibly embedded into different aspects of community building practice by multiple roles such as advocates,coordinators,educators,and guides,and promote community residents to actively participate in community building,give play to the guiding role of community opinion leaders,and foster community self-development.organization.In the later stage of community building,social workers are more empowering people,further promoting residents' autonomy in the role of service providers and supporters,and awakening residents' community awareness.Combining the social work embedded in the community to create practical activities of practical activities,this study attempts to summarize the effective experience of social work in the process of community building practice activities:First,promote the community's local strength online and offline all-round consultation;Second,insist on listening—respond" to the circular mechanism;Third,flexible use of social work expertise;Fourth,continuous link to multiple resources to ensure the vitality of community building.It cannot be ignored that the process of social work embedded in the community is tortuous,facing internal and external difficulties and multiple challenges.The first is the individual dilemma of social workers:improper understanding of the community,lack of professionalism,lack of practical skills and role conflicts of one person and multiple jobs;secondly,constraints from the external environment,mainly reflected in the social situation of the local society The lack of workers' right to speak and the low participation rate of community residents are twofold.The practice of social work embedded in community construction has begun to show efficacies:community residents' consultations have been revealed,community residents' awareness has sprouted,community self-organization has flourished,and the beautiful blueprints created by the community are appeared.In this process,social work should focus on breaking through traditional concepts,strive to improve professionalism,lead the community to create progress through multiple means.Besides,social work and community building are blending together,mutual interaction and common symbiosis.
