To develop the life education of middle school students is not only the fundamental need to carry out the concept of "student-based" education,but also the inevitable requirement to promote the healthy growth of middle school students.In recent years,with the rapid development of economic life,there has been an imbalance between material life and spiritual life.The diversification and profitability of social value orientation,the utilitarianism and pattern of educational value orientation,to varying degrees,affect all aspects of school education and the healthy growth of middle school students,and even lead to more and more serious physical and mental health problems among many students.Based on the practical investigation,investigation and consulting relevant literature,this article takes the course of Morality and Law Course as the breakthrough point,explores the current situation of life education for middle school students,and tries to make an in-depth study of the many deficiencies in life education,hoping to have a certain understanding and grasp of life education problems in China.From the people oriented,this article elaborates the basic content of life education for middle school students.Starting from life,it clarifies the original meaning and characteristics of life,understands the connotation of life education,analyzes the theoretical basis of life education,expounds the goal,content and value significance of life education for middle school students.,and clarifies the relationship between life education and the course of Morality and Rule of Law.Taking two middle schools in Xiamen as the research object,through questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students,this paper investigates the current situation of life education for middle school students and points out the main deficiencies of life education in China,which are manifested in the following aspects: the neglect of relevant subjects,the imperfection of education mechanism,the low level of teachers' professionalization and the inadequate joint efforts of education.This article analyzes the value orientation of life education for middle school students from three dimensions: cherishing the existence of life,improving the development and emphasizing the meaning of life.Finally the author tries to put forward some measures to improve the life education for middle school students,such as: in terms of educational concept,middle school students,schools and society should establish corresponding values;in classroom teaching,it is necessary to establish clear course orientation and diversified course forms,construct hierarchical teaching objectives and content system,and construct developmental teaching evaluation methods;on the practical carrier,it realizes the long-acting link mechanism of life education and network new media,mental health education and life model demonstration.
