With the promulgation of the curriculum standards for general high school geography(2017 edition),the core quality of geography has attracted the attention of scholars and high school geography teachers.In geography teaching,due to the limitation of objective conditions,some teaching links and forms cannot be carried out for the cultivation of students' core geographic literacy.With its unique advantages,multimedia can play an important role in the cultivation and teaching of students' core qualities.This study used questionnaire survey method,interview method,classroom observation,case analysis method,according to the core of the geographic literacy as the breakthrough point,through to the high school of the investigation of the status quo of the use of multimedia teaching in geography teaching,as well as the analysis of high school geography teachers in the process of teaching by using multimedia teaching to cultivate students core accomplishment present situation,the following conclusions:Based on the perspective of geography core literacy,through the analysis of the current situation of multimedia teaching application in high school geography teaching,it is found that the main problems are :(1)teachers' insufficient understanding of geography core literacy,and insufficient penetration of the cultivation of students' geography core literacy in geography teaching;(2)teachers' multimedia operation level is limited,and the utilization efficiency of multimedia teaching is not high;(3)teachers generally believe that it is very important to cultivate students' core geographic literacy through multimedia teaching,but they have not been able to actively cultivate students in actual teaching.(4)the lack of multimedia teaching to cultivate students' core literacy cases.The main reasons for the problems of teachers are as follows: first,the concept of the cultivation of teachers' core qualities has not been fully formed;second,teachers believe that there are difficulties in the specific geography teaching practice.Through the evaluation of students' core literacy ability,students' geographic core literacy level is generally low,especially geographical practice.The main reasons are as follows: firstly,the students are not interested in learning geography,the traditional teaching mode is monotonous,and some of the knowledge of geography is difficult to learn.Secondly,students are still mainly in the study of geographical knowledge and theory,and lack of awareness of the cultivation of core literacy.Thirdly,teachers pay insufficient attention to the cultivation of students' core geographic literacy ability in teaching.In view of the above analysis of some problems in the use of multimedia to cultivate students' core literacy in some schools in Huangshi,combined with the actual situation of some schools in Huangshi City,combined with the specific teaching practice of the author,the following improvement strategies are proposed:First of all,the school,(1)strengthen the training of geography teachers,set up training courses,lectures,etc.,strengthen teachers' understanding of geography core literacy,and use multimedia to cultivate students' core literacy skills;(2)improve multimedia facilities Meet the teaching needs,improve the class multimedia teaching equipment according to the actual situation of the school,equip the teachers with computers,etc.;(3)Create an atmosphere that uses multimedia to cultivate students' core cultural literacy,and often carry out courseware production competitions and observation teaching activities.Secondly,teachers :(1)to strengthen the comprehensive understanding of the core quality of geography,strengthen the core quality of geography teachers;(2)strengthen the cultivation of students' awareness of core literacy,and update the education and teaching philosophy;(3)make full use of the advantages of multimedia,optimize the teaching methods,and fully integrate the cultivation content of core geographic literacy in the teaching process.A multimedia case design was carried out for the required course "front and weather" in senior high school geography.Two classes in senior high school were divided into the experimental group and the control group for the teaching comparison experiment.It was found that the teaching effect of the experimental group with multimedia teaching was better than that of the control group with traditional teaching.
