For the students of secondary vocational schools,the ability of skilled talents is an essential factor for them to adapt to the workplace in the future,and these abilities need to be acquired through continuous learning.Secondary vocational school students need to learn professional courses,but cultural courses are still the main way for students to acquire skills-based abilities.At present,many secondary vocational schools have the status quo of "attaching importance to professional courses,despising cultural courses",which makes the teaching of many cultural courses become mere formality and fail to play a role in cultivating students’ cultural quality and skills-based ability.The focus of this paper is to study the relationship between cultural quality and the formation of Vocational ability.By elaborating the connotation of cultural quality and vocational ability,this paper puts forward the requirements of secondary vocational schools for the cultivation of cultural quality and vocational ability,and then explains the role and correlation of cultural quality to the cultivation of Vocational ability.The content of this paper is divided into four parts.The specific research contents are as follows:The first part mainly carries on the related literature research to the secondary vocational school culture quality training present situation and the vocational ability training,and elaborates the research background and the significance.The second part discusses in detail how to integrate vocational ability training into the process of cultural quality training in secondary vocational schools,and puts forward the requirements of cultural quality training and vocational ability training,as well as their roles and links.The third part makes a detailed analysis of the gap between the cultural quality training of secondary vocational schools and the requirement of the cultivation of skilled talents,investigates the current situation of the cultural quality training of secondary vocational schools,and analyses the problems and causes of the current cultivation of students’ cultural quality in secondary vocational schools according to the results of the investigation.The fourth part mainly aims at the present situation and puts forward scientific teaching strategies.Under the background of the training of skilled talents,we should reform the training scheme of talents in secondary vocational schools,strengthen the training of students’ cultural quality,and gradually form vocational ability,reflecting the professionalism and openness of secondary vocational schools,so as to lay a foundation for the social training of skilled talents.At the same time,taking Zhangjiakou Vocational Education Center as an example,this paper discusses in detail the concrete implementation of cultural quality training and vocational ability formation,verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the above reform strategy,reflects the professionalism and openness of secondary vocational schools,and lays a foundation for social training of skilled talents.
