A Practical Study On The Adjustment Of Parent-Child Relationship In Remarriage Family

The traditional concept of marriage has undergone tremendous changes in the acceleration period of social transformation,which has led to changes in the family structure and the number of remarried families continue to increase.The various contradictions and problems that exist in remarried families inevitably have an impact on children.This article is concerned with the growth of parent-child relationships in remarried families.Parent-child relationship is one of the most important and basic relationships in the family.For children who are at a critical stage of socialization,A good parent-child relationship can help them pass through the confusion and fluctuation of adolescence,and even affect their physical and mental development.But,studies have shown that there are different degrees of disorder in children's mental development,emotional mood,personality traits,mental health and socialization in remarried families,which are prone to negative emotions,negative emotions and mental health problems.The existence of these problems,In a large extent due to the parent-child relationship is not harmonious stepfamilies.This study focuses on improving the parent-child relationship in remarried families,and analyzes the possible problems and causes of the current parental relationship on the basis of full collection of information,which can find out the needs of clients and use case work methods to intervene and explore.This study begins with remarried family children in "wheat field watch" project by the cooperation between Jiangning District Youth League Committee of Nanjing city and Nanjing Agricultural University,using parent-child relationship of Chinese version to measure the parent-child relationship.The results show that there are some problems in parent-child relationship.Choose such children as the object of this study combining with the wishes of children and their parents.The study found that the problem of parent-child relationship in remarried families was mainly manifested in poor communication,conflict between parents and children and remarried parents' neglect to children.And these problems are caused by the Changes in the structure of remarried families,Remarried family parenting style,Children's personality and other reasons.Therefore,according to the analysis of the parent-child relationship and the cause of the clients,this study chooses the family structure treatment model to carry on the social work intervention to the improvement of the parent-child relationship of the remarried family.Under the guidance of family system theory and cognitive behavior theory,we follow the steps and procedures of social work and combine the basic practical skills of social work with the method of combining family therapy.Through the case talks,family talks,game therapy,etc.accumulated a total of 10 times the relatively formal talks or treatment to advocate parents and children in remarried families with the specific involvement of the whole remarried family.Guide the client to learn new ways of communicating and develop new family rules.What's more,help clients to solve parent-child conflict,improve family-parent relationship and promote family happiness.Finally,to understand the effect of joint family therapy model on parent-child relationship of remarried family through the results assessment and social workers to assess their own.The results show that the parent-child relationship of the clients was improved obviously,and the intervention of the case was achieved.But also to verify the joint family therapy model in the local family therapy to achieve the desired intervention.Finally,the whole research process is summarized and rethought.This study explores the problem of parent-child relationship in remarried families,propose and demonstrate the ideas,methods and contents of providing professional social work services to remarried families with parent-child relationship problems.We also need to carry out more exploration and integration of resources to better improve family problems,coordinate the relationship between family members and enhance the well-being of family members.
