This paper uses Delphi method to study the specific connotation of teaching ability,and obtains the first and second indicators of physical education teachers' teaching ability,and applying the methods of documentation and questionnaire interview to carry out objective investigation and research,This paper analyses the teaching ability of 30 primary school physical education teachers in Suqian City,and draws concrete conclusions and suggestions.Conclusion:Firstly,the comprehensive ability of teachers basically meets the teaching requirements,the age structure,educational background structure and professional title structure of physical education teachers are more reasonable,the work experience is more abundant,and they have certain scientific research ability;secondly,teachers' teaching ideas can be constantly updated and perfected,keeping abreast of the development needs of the times,and constantly updating and perfecting their own teaching concepts.Thirdly,teachers have a better sense of self-improvement;fourthly,physical education teachers' teaching organizational abilities(including action demonstration,organizational management,teaching monitoring and other abilities)need to be strengthened;fifthly,teachers have deficiencies in the design of teaching objectives and curriculum;sixth,teachers' teaching methods are unreasonable;seventhly,teachers do not pay enough attention to mental health education;and eighth,teachers do not pay enough attention to mental health education.Teachers' evaluation of students' learning effect is not scientific enough.Based on the problems,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Let experienced teachers drive young teachers,learn from each other,make common progress and constantly improve themselves.At the same time,physical education teachers are required to publish more documents and participate in sports training.(2)Strictly ask oneself,practice constantly,communicate with colleagues,help each other,and strengthen the supervision of the classroom.(3)Strengthen the importance of teaching design.(4)Strengthen training to improve quality and participate in multi-channel training and development.(5)Based on the concept of primary school physical education teaching,build an all-round teaching evaluation mechanism.
