Taking Hanzhong area as an example,this study is a investigation on the status of biology key competencies about senior high school students and their influence factors and puts forward reasonable suggestions and examples.The paper has used “the biology key competencies questionnaire” as a research tool conducting a questionnaire survey of 1688 students from three schools as the research object.The following passages show the results of the study:1.The current status of the biology key competenciesAt present,most students are at the middle-lower level in the overall of biological core literacy,life concept dimension,scientific thinking dimension and scientific inquiry dimension;they are at the upper middle level in the social responsibility dimension.2.Influence factorsInfluential factors at the individual :liberal arts,biological interests,career ideals,cognitive style,learning style,personality,gender,and grade.Influencing factors at the household: the frequency of family-sponsored books and magazines related to biology,the frequency of family topics such as caring for life and protecting the environment,the degree to which families value the ability to develop students,and the frequency with which families organize educational activities.Influential factors at the school level: school level,concept map,cooperative learning,inquiry learning,STSE,intuitive perception,biological experiment class development method,biological classroom interaction form,frequency of holding bio-related lectures and forums in school,organize the frequency of bio-related debates and science and technology competitions in school,organize students to go out and investigate the current status of surrounding species and the status of environmental status in schoolInfluential factors at the social level: propaganda on the status and prospects of the development of the biology department,propaganda on current domestic and international biological hot spot issues,propaganda on healthy lifestyles,propaganda on keeping away from drugs and preventing infectious diseases,Propaganda about caring for life and protecting the environment.Independent sample T test for liberal arts,cognitive style,learning style,gender,and class level;One-way analysis of variance for the remaining influencing factors showed that:there were significant differences,in addition to class level and grade has not significant differences.3.Advice for promotionAccording to the analysis,this study starts from the school,individual,family and social status and puts forward 16 suggestions.It hopes to provide reference for the improvement of students' key competencies.4.Cultivated exampleBased on the recommendations,this study proposes two teaching segments and two activity programs so as to provide a model for the improvement of students' key competencies.
