At the 19 th National People's Congress,it is proposed to fully implement the Party's educational policy,carry out the fundamental task of cultivating virtue,develop quality-oriented education,promote educational equity,and train socialist builders and successors who are well-developed morally,intellectually,physically,and aesthetically.Basic education directly reflects the national will in the field of education,and plays a key role in the cultivation of virtue.As an important course in basic education,geography course in senior high school must make its due contribution to the cultivation of virtue.In the face of the new situation,in order to adapt to the senior high school curriculum reform,the general high school curriculum standard(2017 edition)follows.The curriculum standard of geography contains the core literacy of geography,which is reflected in the course objectives,course ideas and so on.In the second optional compulsory course,the regional development module is closely related to local geography.Local geography resource is an important and characteristic part of geography course resource.The study of local geography is conducive to the implementation of geography curriculum standard and the cultivation of students' geography core literacy.In this study,questionnaire survey is carried out among teachers and students in six schools in Xinji to grasp the actual situation and find that teachers have a general understanding of local geography courses;Teachers and students have high recognition for the development and utilization of local geography curriculum;There are many difficulties in developing and utilizing the course resources of local geography,such as the lack of teaching materials of local geography,the neglect of relevant schools and education departments,and the shortage of funds;The development and utilization of local geography course is of great significance for practicing the new curriculum standard and implementing the geography core literacy.Teachers seldom design local geography cases in daily teaching,but students prefer to learn the geography around them and in life.Students do not have a high level of understanding of local geographic knowledge,but they recognize the positive role of local geographic knowledge.Most students believe that by learning local geographic knowledge,they can improve their interest in learning and gradually cultivate the geography core literacy.It is necessary to develop and make use of the knowledge of local geography in Xinji,so that students can understand the situation of their hometown,love their hometown and make contributions to their hometown.With the goal of cultivating students' geography core literacy and under the guidance of the general high school curriculum standard(2017 edition),this paper takes Xinji local geography as the background,aims to develop a course of local geography with Xinji characteristics,and carries out the research and practice exploration on the development and utilization of local geography course.The thesis mainly includes the following five aspects.The first part is introduction.This paper introduces the background and significance of the topic selection in the development and utilization of local geography course,and analyzes the domestic and foreign research status and research methods of this paper.The second part is the theoretical overview of the curriculum development and utilization of local geography in senior high school.It defines the core concepts of local geography and local geography curriculum development.This part introduces the theoretical basis of curriculum development of local geography by studying literature.The third part is the development and utilization of local geography course in Xinji.Through the questionnaire survey of some teachers and students in various high schools in Xinji,the results show that:(1)teachers have a general understanding of local geography courses;(2)teachers and students have high recognition for the development and utilization of local geography courses;(3)there are many difficulties in the development and utilization of local geography courses.The fourth part is the course development of local geography in Xinji.Under the background of the abundant natural and human geography resources in Xinji city,the principles of curriculum development of local geography are formulated,and a relatively complete curriculum development program is worked out.The fifth part is the teaching design and implementation case of local geography course in Xinji,aiming to provide demonstration reference for teachers' teaching practice.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect.This paper summarizes the conclusion of the research and practice,and puts forward the research prospect,hoping to get the attention of relevant education departments.
