With the social development and scientific and technological progress,the traditional tourism industry is constantly emerging and developing new trends,in this process will inevitably put forward new requirements for tourism employment.Secondary vocational school guide service professional has trained a lot of travel service employment for the society,so it should actively consider the reform and innovation of talent training model with the development of the times,and actively adaptto the needs of tourism for compound employment.At the same time,although the state has paid great attention to the development of career education n secondary vocational schools in recent years,the Ministry of Education has listed the career planning curriculum as a compulsory course of moral education in secondary vocational schools in 2008.However,the development of career planning curriculum in secondary vocational schools in China is not ideal.Moreover,there are some outstanding problems in the employment situation of secondary vocational school graduates,such as the instability of post-service career,the inability to adapt to the new requirements ofjobs in time and the lack of motivation for development in employment.Therefore,we should combine career education with the core curriculum of tour guide service major n secondary vocational schools,and infiltrate career education into the daily teaching of the core course of tour guide service major.It is helpful to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of career education,give full play to the unique educational characteristics of"systematic,sustainable and dynamic development" of career education,so as to better promote the cultivation and export of talents in secondary vocational schools.Based on the background and significance of the selected topic,this paper takes career theory,person-job matching theory and pragmatism educational theory as the theoretical basis of this study,and discusses the advantages and characteristics of the core course teaching of tour guide service major in secondary vocational schools.This paper investigates the development of career education of tour guide service students in secondary vocational schools and the relevant views and suggestions of teachers by means of questionnaires and interviews.According to the results of the above investigation and analysis,this paper puts forward the effective strategy and related application design of the core course teaching of tour guide service major in secondary vocational schools.
