The junior high school "Morality and the Rule of Law" is a comprehensive curriculum organically integrating psychology,morality,law,national conditions and other aspects,characterized by ideological,humanistic,practical and comprehensive.It is a key course to train students to form correct ideas and develop good moral qualities.However,since the content of the course "Morality and the Rule of Law" is is biased towards the indoctrination of theory,the phenomenon of students being tired of learning is more serious,and the effect of classroom teaching is not ideal.How to change this situation and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching in morality and rule of law is a major issue that the junior high school morality and rule of law faces currently.Since the new curriculum reform,the effective classroom teaching model has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.It is a teaching philosophy that based on constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory,mastery of learning theory,and cooperative learning theory,aiming to improve students' initiative in the classroom,foster students' enthusiasm for learning,and create efficient classroom teaching.Starting from the concept of efficient classrooms,primary and secondary schools across the country have created various teaching modes that are consistent with local conditions.The "four-lead" teaching mode is one of them.The "four-lead" teaching mode is fully mobilizes students' enthusiasm and initiative in learning through four stages: "introduction"(introduction and self-study),"introduction"(presentation and inquiry),"induction"(detection and feedback),and "exhibition"(regression and expansion).It meets the requirements of the new curriculum standards,the characteristics of the ethics and rule of law curriculum in junior high schools,the development of students' nature,and the development of teachers in ethics and the rule of law.The "four-lead" teaching mode has achieved good results in the practical application of morality and rule of law courses.It not only stimulates students' enthusiasm and initiative,but also cultivates students' sense of cooperation and inquiry,improves students' academic achievement and teacher teaching efficiency.In addition,it promotes the establishment of harmonious relationship and teacher-student relationship.However,there are still some problems in the application.For example,students' classroom participation is not ideal,the teaching content design is slightly unreasonable,the teacher's teaching reflection is still not thorough,the student evaluation mechanism needs to be improved,the teacher education implementation is not in place,etc.,which seriously restricts and hinders the realization of the efficient teaching of morality and the rule of law.To solve these problems,we must start from the two aspects of school and teachers.On one hand,for schools,it is necessary to establish a people-oriented student evaluation mechanism and a teacher education system based on the concept of lifelong development.On the other hand,for teachers,it is necessary to improve the comprehensive ability of applying the "four-lead" teaching mode,including the ability to guide students' self-study,the organizational ability of the study group,the teaching ability of the morality and rule of law courses,the design ability of the training and development links,the ability to reflect on education and teaching research,and so on.Only by doing a two-pronged approach can we better promote the effectiveness of the teaching of morality and the rule of law,improve the teaching effect of morality and the rule of law,and deliver better talents for the construction of socialist modernization.
