For a long time,language teaching in secondary vocational schools mainly uses the Language Curriculum textbooks developed by the state.Local culture,as a curriculum resource,is in a state of lack of teaching,resulting in the lack of effective play of the educational value of local culture.In addition,the current secondary vocational students are mainly diverted students,the quality of enrollment is declining,the general language foundation is poor,and secondary vocational students are mainly vocational education,language is often neglected,the use of traditional textbooks makes students feel disconnected from life and occupation,and they are not interested in language learning.The integration of local culture into language teaching in secondary vocational schools can make students feel that language is close to life,career,interest in learning,and improve learning effect.Based on the local culture of Gaozhou into the secondary vocational language classroom teaching application research is put forward in this context.The main purpose of this research is to seek a more systematic and effective combination of local culture and language teaching in secondary vocational schools,relying on the local culture of Gaozhou.The content of this paper mainly includes the general situation of the application of local culture in language teaching in Vocational schools,which is divided into three aspects: content,current situation and value.Then it further analyses the category and feasibility of the specific curriculum resources of local culture in Gaozhou,and finally puts forward the application strategy and scheme of Gaozhou local culture in language teaching in Vocational schools.The paper focuses on the application program,which is based on the first volume of the Chinese textbook Reading and Writing published by the People's Education Press,guided by the training of reading skills and writing steps,and supported by local culture,to form a relatively systematic training strategy to enrich the Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools.Specifically,according to the train of thought of reading and writing skills training,it can be divided into five topics: understanding words and sentences,summarizing key points,clearing up ideas,grasping the literary meaning and writing training,connecting with local culture,and putting forward the overall application concept and case analysis respectively,finally forming a more systematic application plan and practical application case.
