Today, with the development of the popularization of higher education, the all-round development of human ability and body and mind is the common goal of talent training in colleges and universities. The starting point of the cultivation of ability and physical and mental health is the beginning of the role transformation from middle school students to college students. The closed learning environment and slightly passive learning style in middle schools are very different from the loose learning environment in universities and the learning style based on autonomous learning. Therefore, the success of role transformation is the smooth beginning of the realization of students' training goals. The core element of role transformation is adaptability.Only with good adaptability can they integrate into the university environment as soon as possible, find themselves, find the direction and goal of efforts, and gradually acquire all kinds of abilities and healthy body and mind. However, compared with ordinary colleges and universities, the characteristics of students and majors in higher vocational colleges determine that it is more difficult to cultivate their adaptability. In the previous studies, the research on the adaptability of higher vocational students pays more attention to the investigation and related research on the adaptability of higher vocational students, and the intervention research is less, among which, the research on the intervention through quality development training is more and more focused on the investigation and related research on the adaptability of higher vocational students. However,it is only a simple description of the results of the intervention, there is no theoretical demonstration of the relationship between the content or means of intervention and students' adaptability, and there is no theoretical in-depth analysis of the research results, and the academic value of the research results is not great. The practical application value of its results is not high. Therefore, the effective research on the content or method of quality development training intervention, the theoretical demonstration of the relationship between intervention variables and intervention effect and the exploration of the law of action need to be carried out.Based on this problem, this paper takes the students majoring in electronic commerce of Grade 2016 in Shandong Foreign language Vocational College as the research object, and discusses the quality expansion training content which can effectively improve the adaptability of students in higher vocational colleges through literature and theoretical analysis.Through experiments to verify the effectiveness of quality development training on the adaptability of higher vocational students, and combined with the theory of its reasons.Through the study, the following conclusions are drawn:1.After the experiment, the scores of interpersonal adaptation, campus adaptation, satisfaction, learning adaptation, emotional adaptation,self-adaptation and total score of boys and girls in the experimental group were significantly or very significantly improved. However, the improvement in the score of career adaptation is not obvious.2.After the experiment, the scores of the seven dimensions and the total score of the boys and girls in the control group were not significantly improved.3.There were gender differences in the scores of different dimensions of adaptation, which showed that except for learning adaptation, the scores and total scores of the other six dimensions of adaptation of boys were significantly higher than those of girls. The scores of emotional adaptation,self-adaptation and satisfaction of girls in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of boys.4.On the whole, quality development training can better promote the improvement of students' adaptability.
