On March 18th,2019,President Xi Jinping hosted a seminar on teachers of the Ideology and Politics in Beijing.President Xi stressed that teenagers are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation.He also stressed that the youth stage is the"booting stage" of life,which is most necessary to guide and cultivate carefully.The role of the Ideology and Politics cannot be replaced.Heavy responsibility falls on teachers of the Ideology and Politics.In recent years,the national leaders have been making many speeches and relating documents about the ideology and politics education,which reflects that our country attaches increasingly importance to the ideological and political education.The ideological and political(Moral)course is a socialist civic quality education curriculum centered on the basic point of Marxist.In order to do a good job in the Ideology and Politics in high school,it is even more necessary for senior teachers of this course to respond to the call of our nation and improve teaching methods.The participatory teaching method insists on learner-centered and emphasizes the effective participation of students in the whole process of teaching,so that students can learn knowledge,develop their abilities and cultivate their feelings in the process of participation.This teaching method is used in the Ideology and Politics in high school,which helps to improve the effectiveness of Political Course.The article is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduces the meaning of participatory teaching method and its characteristics of subjective participation,democracy,cooperation,creativity and openness.It should be adhered to the basic principles of participation,learner-centered,effectiveness and epoch,when its using in Political Course of high school.Under the guidance of the above-mentioned theories and principles,the second part discusses the implementation methods of participatory teaching method using in the Ideology and Politics of high school,combining some specific teaching examples.It focuses on the scenarios establishing,role playing,emotion participating,brains storm etc seven basic forms.This parts also demonstrates the operational requirements of the participatory teaching method in high school Political course,including teachers and students participating in pre-class preparation,class participation and after-school participation.The third part describes the achievements and main problems of this teaching method in its using.The achievements includes promoting the growth of high school political teachers,changing students'learning style,bringing new changes of the Political course teaching process in high school and teaching evaluation methods.There are main problems such as the uneven quality of teachers,the constraints of students' learning habits and mentality,and the constraints of the teaching environment.The forth part puts forward some strategies from the aspects of teacher,students,teaching process and teaching evaluation system,which helps to improve the effective application of this method in the Political Course in high school.
