The history of physics includes the concept of physics,the process of law establishment,the course of physicists’ pursuit of truth,and the development history of human thinking.The practice of integrating the history of physics into teaching plays three roles.Firstly,it substantially enhances students’,interest in studying physics.Secondly,it helps students to grasp the knowledge of physics better and makes it more likely to form a rational thinking mode.Thirdly,it guides students to form correct life values.The author deeply felt the charm of the history of physics in work experience.On the contrary,teachers and students attach little importance to the knowledge of academic history in high school teaching.For instance,some teachers think the National College Entrance Examination does not evaluate students’ grasp of the history of physics.For them,excessive learning of the history wastes the time of teaching and thus disrupts the normal teaching.The author believes learning the history of physics does not conflict with teaching physics in senior high schools,but sometimes plays the role of assisting the latter.The purpose of this thesis is to study the role played by the history of physics in assisting physics teaching in senior high schools,the practice of integrating the history of physics into classrooms and the modes of integrating the history of physics into teaching.The first chapter is an introduction,which describes the research background,research significance and the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter is divided into two parts:The first part introduces the theoretical foundation.The second part analyzes the auxiliary role of the history of physics based on the mental and physical characteristics of contemporary senior high school students,including the teaching of knowledge points,the cultivating of students’ scientific&cultural qualities and the impact on teachers’ qualities.The third chapter studies the status of integrating the history of physics into teaching.The fourth chapter first explores the principles and means of integrating the history of physics into the classroom.It then makes a teaching experiment on the role played by the history of physics in assisting teaching.Lastly,it makes conclusions and puts forward prospects.The main innovation of the thesis lies in studying the modes of assisting classroom teaching with the history of physics according to the physical and mental characteristics of contemporary senior high students,as well as the latest examination syllabus.In this way,the class of physics is no longer about difficult and tedious problems but filled with one after another living character,interesting story,the great course of explorations and ingenious experiment.In a word,the history of physics will bring the charm of physics to more teachers and students.
