In the context of the information explosion,with the widespread use of the Internet and mobile phones,digital reading,shallow reading,and fragmented reading have become increasingly prevalent,and the whole book reading has been seriously affected.On the other hand,for a long time,Chinese language textbooks have been dominated by single-page readings.The whole book readings are mostly in the form of excerpts and guides.Overall,the whole book is not paid enough attention.The "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" officially proposed "the whole book reading and discussion learning task group",and the research on "reading the whole book" has arisen.The task group clearly stated that“reading a novel in the specified scope” and “reading an academic work within the specified scope”.However,the current research on the whole book reading of the novels is endless,but the research field of academic books is almost untouched.Therefore,the thesis takes academic writings as a breakthrough point and attempts to explore the strategies of reading and teaching the entire book.The "Introduction" part of the thesis explains the research significance,research objects and research methods.The first part expounds the research background of the whole book reading teaching of high school academic works,including the three parts of the "class research","document research" and "investigation research" of the whole book reading teaching of high school academic works.The second part is "the connotation of the whole book reading teaching of high school academic works".This part defines the concept of "the whole book reading teaching of academic works",and proposes that "academic works mainly refer to the influential publications of innovative value and strict logic written by scholars based on the research results in a certain field." The entire book reading teaching is the teacher's characteristics of academic works,a purposeful,planned,organized and guided series of reading teaching activities,in order to cultivate students' interest in reading,reading habitsand reading methods.And the ability to read."
