In order to adhere to and develop the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,build a modern and powerful socialist country,and realize the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the role of ideological and political courses is irreplaceable,and the teachers of ideological and political courses have a great responsibility.As an important part of the construction of professional talents for teachers of ideological and political courses,the master of discipline teaching(ideological and political)plays an important role in promoting the development of ideological and political education.However,the reality shows that many master's degrees in teaching(ideological and political)are not engaged in professional related work after graduation,resulting in serious brain drain.In view of the above problems,this paper mainly studies the situation of Occupational Expectations,a master's teacher in discipline teaching(ideological and political education).This article mainly adopts the qualitative research method,on the basis of reading a large number of documents and drawing lessons from other related research,carries on the semi-Structured interview to2019 discipline teaching(ideological and political)professional master.Through the analysis of the interview data,it is found that: first,stable and secure jobs are still the first choice for employment.on the one hand,they conform to the practical employment direction of the master of discipline teaching(ideological and political)and on the other hand,they also embody their value pursuit of stability.Second,there are differences in the factors considered by male and female students when choosing a career.Male students are more influenced by their own interests and abilities when choosing a career,while female students are more influenced by their families when choosing a career.Third,Occupational Expectations,a student majoring in transfer,is vague and does not have a clear career plan.Fourth,changes have taken place in the professional learning process in Occupational Expectations,with the largest number of students changing in educational practice and curriculum learning.According to the above research findings,combined with some of their own experience,the following suggestions are put forward to schools and students: schools should strengthen the cultivation of students' professional ability,set up courses that are conducive to the improvement of students' professional ability,strengthen the training of students' professional basic skills,and select standardized educational practice bases for students.Students should know themselves correctly.To improve self-confidence,improve initiative and adjust majors,students should adjust their career plans as soon as possible.
