Since the new curriculum reform,education discipline has been questioned by people,and many junior middle school teachers are unwilling to implement education discipline.In fact,education discipline is different from corporal punishment.Its essence is to promote the development of physical and mental healthily.The problem-behaviors of students frequently occur in the education stage of junior middle school.If teachers can carry out education discipline correctly and reasonably,it will help students correct their problem-behaviors and promote their development of physical and mental healthily.Therefore,how to let junior middle school teachers implement education discipline correctly and reasonably is the.urgent task of school management.For this purpose,a questionnaire survey is conducted among 155 junior middle school teachers and 305 students in certain district of Tianjin,which supplemented by an interview survey.Through the analysis of the collected data,it is found that most junior middle school teachers and students recognize the education discipline and its effect.The problems of education discipline in junior high school are mainly focused on the environment and the implementation of education discipline,which is embodied in the lack of necessary education disciplinary actions,the simplification of education disciplinary measures,the randomization of education discipline,and the lack of integrity in the education discipline process.The factors that affect the implementation of the education discipline mainly include the incompleteness of the relevant laws and regulations of the education discipline,the deviation of the disciplinary concept of social groups,and the lack of the teachers' consciousnesses and abilities of moraleducation.In order to help the junior middle school teachers carry out the educational discipline correctly and reasonably and give full play to the.educational significance of the education discipline,the following strategies are put forward:defining the boundaries and the scopes of education discipline;perfecting the implementation process of education discipline,making education disciplinary methods flexibly;improving teachers' awarenesses and abilities of moral education,establishing an education disciplinary supervision system;strengthening cooperation between families and schools,changing parents' false disciplinary concepts;creating a rational and healthy social public opinion atmosphere.
