A Case Study On The Construction Of Tourism And Hotel Management Major In Changsha C Vocational School

Specialty is the foundation of normal operation and development of vocational schools.At present,many secondary vocational schools in China have setted up the major "tourism and hotel management",and opened to the public to recruit junior high school students.The formation and development of this profession is in line with the specific environment of social development in China.Based on the current situation of tourism and hotel management in Changsha C vocational school,this study explores the existing problems of tourism and hotel management in secondary vocational school,analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.Firstly,this paper expounds the connotation and requirements of professional construction,and reviews the contents of the research.At the same time,it defines the concept of secondary vocational school and professional construction of tourism and hotel management,and introduces the research methods adopted by this research institute.Secondly,the main contents of the spacialty construction of secondary vocational school are introduced.Thirdly,the article analyzes the construction of tourism and hotel management of C vocational schooland analyzes the problems and reasons of the current construction of this specialty.According to the study,The problems in the construction of tourism and hotel management specialty in secondary vocational schools mainly include the low degree of conformity between professional construction and industry demand,the compatibility between professional curriculum setting and professional position ability to be improved,the professional curriculum construction does not take professional characteristics into account,and the professional teachers’ in-depth practice is not active enough.Professional teachers Team building needs to be strengthened etc.The reasons for these problems are mainly due to the lack of overall planning for the construction of tourism and hotel management majors in secondary vocational schools,the lack of industry strength inspection in professional construction,the failure of cooperation between schools and enterprises,and the incomplete guarantee mechanism for teachers.This study points out that the construction of tourism and hotel management specialty in the C vocational school of Changsha needs to define the goals of professional construction,make overall planning,carry out field industry inspection,clarify the requirements of students’ professional position ability,strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises,and highlight the characteristics.At the same time,we must also enhanced the protection and promote maintain stability of theteachers,such as internal training of relevant personnel,realizing teachers’ "double division",ensuring that young teachers can develop steadily,and improving teachers’ teaching ability.
