With the development and progress of the times,the demand for talents in the future will be higher and higher.Innovation spirit and independent consciousness are the necessary qualities of future talents.In the face of challenges and opportunities in the future society,diversity and change will be the constant theme,knowledge economy will dominate.Lifelong learning will become a needful form for individual growth,while the strong ability of self education is necessary for life-long learning.In the stage of compulsory education,junior high school students have the best learning status and ability.Therefore,Imparting knowledge is important for educators,but they should pay more attention to develop students' self-education ability.This study takes "theme class meeting" as the entry point,updates the concept of moral education,changes the form of traditional theme class meeting,tries to optimize and rebuild the theme class meeting from the perspective of cultivating junior students' self-education ability,improves the moral education curriculum system,and makes the theme class meeting curricular.At the end of the study,the author analyzes the achievements and lessons and forms a new kind of class meeting experience with the purpose of promoting students' self-education ability.The basic contents of this paper are as follows: on the basis of analyzing the core concepts,this paper systematically sorted out the research on Chinese and foreign theme class meetings and cultivating students' self-education ability,and took Jinan SLLH middle school as an example to investigate and study the status of theme class meetings and students' self-education ability.On the basis of analyzing the present situation and the reasons,the theme class meeting of cultivating students' self-education ability is carried out from grade one,grade two and grade three.Finally,draw the experience and conclusion of the new theme class meeting.
