Primary school period is a critical period for the development of children's values and moral qualities.As one of the class activities,thematic class meeting for primary school students plays an important role in promoting the healthy development of students and improving their ability to recognize problems.In recent years,the state not only attaches importance to basic knowledge education,but also to students' quality education,core quality,cultivation education,moral education and so on.As teachers,the thematic class meeting carries out a specific,detailed and targeted education process for students,which deserves our attention and research.In this paper,LY primary school in Changchun city is taken as the research object,and the research methods such as literature review,observation,interview survey and questionnaire survey are successively applied to investigate and study the research object.At the same time,interview the head teacher according to the research needs.Through the investigation of the purpose,content,form and effect of the primary school theme class meeting implementation characteristics and problems,and put forward effective Suggestions and countermeasures.Based on the investigation of the status quo of LY primary school' s themed class meeting in Changchun,the following conclusions are drawn.1.The chosen topic does not fit in with the student's reality.The head teacher is not clear about the consciousness features of primary school students,including the emotional content.The investigation and research on the existing problems of students in this class are not enough.Secondly,the class teacher is greedy for perfection,the theme is not prominent.2.Class meeting content is big,false,not close to primaryschool life.Most of the class meeting content and the topic is widely divergent,even "out of the question" phenomenon,deviate from the direction of the theme,not for the theme service,there are clearly unclear education content level.3.Schools,teachers and social reasons make the class meeting show the formalism phenomenon of program and festival,which weakens or even loses its original function.4.The effect of thematic class meeting is general,some have only "dragonfly water"the action of type.Based on the survey results and the analysis of influencing factors,this study proposes the following Suggestions from the three aspects of leaders,teachers and students,aiming at the existing problems in the thematic class meeting of primary school students.1.Choose the topic from the students' reality.2.The content truly serves and embodies the"theme",so as to meet the educational purpose of students' age characteristics.3.Form and content are coordinated and unified to serve the theme.
