Research On The Strategy Of The Transformation And Development Of Local TV University

It is nearly forty years since the first TVU founded.TVU has made great contributions to the development of Chinese economy and society.Because of the changings of the requirements of the new era,and the transformations of economic and social development,the transformation and development for TV University has become an inevitable trend.The transformation and upgrading of RTVU is out of the following needs: constructing lifelong education system and learning society construction,adapting the market development strategy,own development of radio and TV University.Meanwhile the integration of information technology and education provides a solid technical support for university transformation and upgrading.Though the direction and goals for transformation and development of RTVU have been basically determined,there are still many problems and puzzles in the specific implementation,which need further research and discussion.Based on the topic of transformation and development of local TV University this article tries to make a more in-depth discussion and research.This paper is based on the radio and TV university education theoretical foundation of inquiry,then sums up the domestic and foreign advanced experience.Meanwhile considering that China's open education is still in the initial stage of the development of the status quo,this article takes City C University as samples,to explore the strategies and ways of local TV universities to promote restructuring and development of the local TV University to be open education.The main contents of this study can be divided into five parts.The first part elaborates the origin,purpose and significance of the research,and domestic and oversea research status,also it introduces the research's methodology.All of these points are focused on the basis and necessity of the transformation and development of RTVU.The second part expounds the realistic background of the transformation and development of RTVU.Considering the role positioning and development dilemma,it clarifies the relationship between RTVU and Open University,community education,lifelong education and so on.At this part it also points out the necessity of transformation development of TVU.The third part,after analyzing the practical experience of distance education in America,Britain and India,as well as Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan area,it extracts some useful references and inspirations.The fourth part is discussing about reality case,here it takes the City C University as an example.After interviews and visits to the leadership and front-line workers of City C University and the education administrative departments,considering the realistic basis of the local TV,with in-depth investigation,this part mainly comes out below results.a)understanding C TV's development history and current situation,b)C TV's vision and thinking about the transformation and development c)list and analyzation for transformation exploration and constraints.The fifth part is for the advices and proposals of the transformation and development of the local TV University by discussing and analyzing above information.The main words are about: clear orientation,increase policy support;optimize educational structure,expand educational channels;improve the quality of education,strengthen the connotation construction;full-time part-time and accelerated team construction;attention to pursue mutual benefit and win-win cooperation,etc..
